Terms of Use
Last updated October 29, 2026
By using checkyourelf.com you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
The service
Check Your Elf builds a 24-night holiday elf activity plan with printables. Anyone can build a plan and view the first 7 nights. The Full Pack unlocks all 24 nights, printables and personalization.
Your account
You must be 18 or older to create an account. Keep your login private; you're responsible for activity on your account. You may share your login with a partner in your household.
Full Pack license
Your purchase gives you a personal, non-commercial license to use the app and print materials for your own household. You may not resell, share activation links publicly, or redistribute the printables. We may deactivate access obtained through shared or misused links.
Your content
You keep ownership of ideas and messages you write. You let us store and display them to provide the service. If you send us an idea suggestion, we may use it in the app without payment.
Safety
Ideas are suggestions for adults to set up. Use your own judgment about your children's ages, allergies, and any small parts, food, heat or water. Supervise children and keep supplies out of reach of little ones.
Trademarks
Elf on the Shelf® is a registered trademark of CCA and B, LLC / Lumistella. Check Your Elf is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by them. Check Your Elf works with any holiday elf or scout elf.
Availability and changes
We work to keep the app running but can't promise it will always be available or error-free. We may update features and these terms; continued use means you accept the updated terms.
Limits of liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or incidental damages, and our total liability is limited to what you paid for the Full Pack. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Refunds
See our Refund Policy.
